ITINERARY
DAY 01: ENTRANCE TO CUSCO - CITY TOUR + ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the chosen hotel.
At 12:00 p.m. we will begin our tour of the City of Cusco. We will visit the Plaza Mayor where most of the buildings preserve the colonial style. Then we will visit the Qoricancha Temple, the maximum expression of Inca architecture, currently the Convent of Santo Domingo. Next we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, characterized by its Renaissance and colonial style. Finally we will visit the four archaeological centers surrounding Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to your hotel.

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS (B,L)
Breakfast. 07:30hrs Pick up from the hotel to take the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit Pisaq where you will appreciate the archaeological complex, as well as visit the Typical Artisanal Market, where you can buy beautiful crafts. You will continue the journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River, until you reach Urubamba, where you will have an exquisite Buffet lunch. Then you will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, its streets maintain the same layout as in the time of the Incas and you will tour the wonderful archaeological complex located there, you will also visit the town of Chinchero, a small Inca and colonial town. Return to Cusco 6:30 p.m. Accommodation in Cusco.
DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU (B,L)
Breakfast. We will go to the Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station according to the season, where we will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at the station in the town of Machu Picchu, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through an intricate path, giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial enclosures and urban areas. The energy emanating from all over the place. After a guided tour, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the appropriate time, we will take the train to take us to Ollantaytambo and then move to the city of Cusco.

DAY 04: CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO (B,L,D)
Breakfast. Coordinated time, transfer to Cusco airport to board the flight to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Biodiversity Capital of Peru, we will welcome you at the airport.
Then we will start our program, with a bus tour of the city.
Then we will go to Puerto Capitanía, where our boat will be waiting for you in which we will navigate the Bajo Madre de Dios River (Rio Serpenteante), until we reach our hostel, located thirty kilometers from the city of Puerto Maldonado.
On the way, you will be able to see rural properties used for agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the weather is favorable, you will see colorful plants such as heliconias with giant flowers, and the possibility of observing animals, such as ronsocos, alligators, aquatic turtles, herons, cormorants, birds of carrion and prey.
Upon arrival at our lodge, you will be welcomed with a delicious nectar of tropical Amazonian fruits and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow), reserved for the occasion. Once settled, a succulent lunch will await you in our cozy dining room with a rustic design.
CAYMAN COCHA
In the afternoon, you will be led by our specialized guide through a conveniently signposted interpretive trail towards Cocha Caimán, a small lagoon where you will have the opportunity to observe the black caiman and white caiman, efficient predators located at the top of the food chain. who live off the abundant water fauna of the lake, represented by species of fish.
Upon returning to the hostel, a delicious dinner will await you and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board games room and stocked with all the drinks you can imagine. The nocturnal fauna will lull you to sleep with the melody of an infinite number of songs and voices of various birds.

DAY 05: ECO AMAZON (B,L,D)
The birds of paradise will sing to wake you up refreshed. A succulent breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.
LOST CAR
After breakfast, we will begin an adventure through the virgin jungle, accompanied by our local guide, we will take a walk towards the deep forest: we will travel along very well-preserved prepared trails of our interpretive circuit. On the way, we will cross temporary water courses called caños, across bridges in very good condition and we will witness the widest range of species of flora and fauna in the wild. We will discover a wide variety of ornamental plants of incomparable beauty.
On the way to the Cocha Perdida, we will identify species of fruit, forest and medicinal trees that support animal populations in the Amazon forests.
With luck, we will be able to spot larger mammals such as the jaguar or otorongo, the sachavaca and the huangana; rodents such as the giant otter, the ronsoco, the majaz and the armadillo; primates such as the howler monkey and the puffin; reptiles such as the iguana and the jergón; amphibians such as the toad and birds such as the wild guan, the partridge, the golden parakeet and the red, blue and yellow macaw.
The rivers leave wetland systems in their wake, lakes, lakes and meanders, such as the spectacular Cocha Perdida.
Wetlands play a very important ecological role, as they represent a substantial biological focus with endemic species. They are a refuge for mammals. These aguajales make up seventy percent of the area that Eco Amazonía Lodge protects and restores.

Once at the Cocha Perdida, we will ascend to a huge observation platform. From this viewpoint, you will be able to appreciate the enormous surface area that covers this magical place where you can see two types of aguajales: dense and mixed.
Then we will take a pleasant walk around the Cocha Perdida and if luck is with you, you will be able to spot the “giant otter” Pteronurabrasiliensis, the largest of its kind and one of the most impressive animals in the Amazon.
Back at the hostel you can enjoy an exquisite lunch
MONKEY ISLAND (OPTIONAL)
In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, located a few minutes from the hostel in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. This island displays an enormous variety of exuberant flora and is home to numerous specimens of primates, such as the macaw, the capuchin, and the puffin and lion. In addition to other species of small mammals, such as the coati (Nasua), the squirrel and a huge variety of colorful birds.
Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Back at the hostel, you can enjoy an exquisite farewell dinner.

DAY 06: DEPARTURE FROM PUERTO MALDONADO (B)
After a restful night's rest, the powerful vocalizations produced by the howler monkey's vocal apparatus, whose sound is amplified mainly by its hyoid bone, warn the visitor that they are in its domain and that it is time to leave. In our dining room, a magnificent breakfast awaits you before returning to Puerto Maldonado to board your return flight to the city of Lima or country of origin.
